Maki Organicare was created by Maartje van Laarhoven in early 2020. The growing awareness that we should minimize our collective impact on the environment as much as possible led her to start her business. At Maki they believe conscious handling of products, reuse and local entrepreneurship contributes to a more sustainable world and produces products that are friendly to people, animals and the environment.

At a certain point, founder Thijske Noordhoek started making soap, because she had enough of long, incomprehensible product labels. She wanted full control over the product that comes into daily contact with the largest organ you have: your skin.
