Het Zeeplokaal
Het Zeeplokaal finds its origins in the love for making products at home. Pure from nature. No unnecessary extras. At a certain point, founder Thijske Noordhoek started making soap, because she had enough of long, incomprehensible product labels. She wanted full control over the product that comes into daily contact with the largest organ you have: your skin.
In January 2017 she made soap for the first time in a cake tin. The cake mold has meanwhile been exchanged for more practical tools, but the soap still contains only natural ingredients. All soap made by the Zeeplokaal are good for your skin and good for mother nature. Every soap made at Het Zeeplokaal, mainly with edible ingredients, are plant based and therefore vegan friendly. The soap is free of sulphates such as SLS and SLES. Also, Het Zeeplokaal chooses not to use palm oil because of the negative impact of the palm oil industry on animals and nature. They work with organic ingredients wherever possible and in the product description you can see which ingredients are organically produced.
Het Zeeplokaal produces eight kinds of soap, including soap with black activated carbon, a scrub soap with oatmeal, soap for your household and two hair soaps. The soap has been tested and improved to create the perfect soap. Furthermore, purchasing soap from Het Zeeplokaal is a very sustainable option, because you don't bring any plastics into your home and you pay for the product itself instead of buying a product that contains a large amount of water (which is the case with liquid soaps, detergents and shampoos).

Vision: We want a world in which natural cleaning is the norm. Where people know that aggressive sulphates are not necessary. A cleaning cupboard without plastic bottles. A bathroom without plastic bottles. Natural cleaning for yourself, your loved ones and the things around you.
