Maki Organicare
Maki Organicare was created by Maartje van Laarhoven in early 2020. The growing awareness that we should minimize our collective impact on the environment as much as possible led her to start her business. At Maki they believe conscious handling of products, reuse and local entrepreneurship contributes to a more sustainable world and produces products that are friendly to people, animals and the environment.
All products are handmade using only organic and natural ingredients, that optimally care for your skin. No products are used that are bad for the earth, such as palm oil or artificial preservatives. Apart from beeswax the ingredients are 100% vegan and plant-based.
Maki packs their products in environmentally-friendly and biodegradable or recyclable material. Products ordered within Amsterdam are delivered by bicycle courier, outside of Amsterdam orders are delivered by post. This is another way in which Maki tries to keep the consequences of business operations as green as possible.
