Nature Hommage
Nature Hommage, launched in 2019 by Jenny Eckerud and Anisa Nordén, is a Swedish eco-conscious women's activewear brand that aims to change the fashion industry. The fashion industry is one of the biggest violators of human rights and one of the biggest polluters on the planet. That is why Natura Hommage finds it very important to act now. Most of activewear clothing produced today is made from crude oil (lycra, polyester etc.). The production process of this activewear from crude oil consumes a large amount of energy and water resources. Nature Hommage creates quality durable active clothing made from recycled plastic, both from landfills and from the sea. True to their sustainability concept, Nature Hommage stands out in the activewear industry for making activewear in an eco-conscious way. From the beginning of the production process to the very end, sustainability is key. Each step from choosing fabrics to making designs and finally on to manufacturing and packaging is sustainable.
But Nature Hommage doesn’t stop there. They support ethical working conditions and human rights. Their manufacturer was awarded the exemption by the Gov. of Indonesia as they comply to all manpower regulation, paying employees well over the minimum wage, & offering a company insurance against doctors’ fees & prescription medication for not only each employee but also up to 4 family members.
Another great aspect of the brand it that they create collaboration collections with organizations to help provide jobs for the local communities and to help clean up the environment. They feel a strong need to give back to the community and to protect the ocean that we take from. At the moment Nature Hommage collaborates with Plastic Bank. For each garment sold, Plastic Bank recycles 80 plastic bottles to they don’t end up in the ocean. Nature Hommage genuinely believes in better quality products and less of them. They believe that the era of fast fashion is over - for state of mind and the planet.
To keep with their sustainability goals, they make their eco-conscious activewear from ECONYL Regenerated Nylon. This nylon is highly reusable and is made from industrial plastic waste and fishing nets. Making activewear with nylon from recycled plastic waste is their contribution to protecting the ocean. Nature Hommage makes high-quality activewear while also protecting the environment.

- 99% of all waste is recycled or reused
- Emissions are 10 times lower than the limits set by law
- 47% of the water used is recycled
- 94% of all electricity used comes from renewable energy sources
