Aardvark
Aardvark paper straws were re-introduced in 2007, in response to a growing anti-plastic movement. Restaurants, hospitals, and other services industries, the main buyers of plastic straws in the US, were forced to look for more sustainable, eco-friendly options. But the history of the paper begins in 1888 Marvin Stone invented the original paper straw and patented his idea. That patent became the foundation for the company Stone later create, the same company that manufactures Aardvark.
Aardvark only uses materials that are non-toxic, BPA-free and chlorine free. Aardvark doesn't use un-safe dyes or materials in their straws, and they have had independent, 3rd party testing done to prove it. Their paper straws are the only paper straws on the market that are made in the USA, use only FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and are marine degradable and compostable.
Every Aardvark product, from straws to cake pops, are environmentally friendly: they can be composted and are marine degradable.
Aardvark offers different kinds of straws, like jumbo straws, giant straws, bendable straws, cocktail straws and bar stirs. The straws come in many color and pattern combinations and can be customized exclusively for your brand or event. Their goal is to make sipping, crafting, decorating and entertaining fun for all and good for the planet. Come join the fun!
